Guardería Directions

For those of you wishing to make your way out to the Guardería it's a fairly easy trip to make and one you can certainly do on your own. The trip currently costs 4 Quetzals roundtrip but ask Isabel (the secretary) just to make sure.

To start, take a right immediately after leaving the school and walk to the traffic light. At the light take a left and walk all the way down the hill. You will come to a small park with a basketball court in the middle. Walk to the big yellow church and wait on the steps for the bus.

The bus will say "Llanos del Pinal" on its sign or just ask the drivers as they come by if they are going to Llanos del Pinal (Just say, Llanos del Pinal?). The bus ride takes about 20-25 minutes. After a long smoother road the bus will start going up a very rocky and rough hill. Keep an eye out to your left for two large red and white radio towers. There will also be a mural painted on a building on the right. You'll want to get off the bus at this T in the road.

At the T take a left (the mural will be on your right and the two radio towers on your left). You'll walk down this street for a good 10 minutes. The road curves a little bit in places but for the most part just go straight and head towards the small grouping of trees. At the small group of trees take a left and the Guardería is the first building (it's pink) on your left.

For returning, head back to the mural and hop on the bus that is heading the opposite direction that you came in. Any bus will do as they all head into town. Just get off the bus at Galgos and Pop Wuj is on the opposite side of the building.
